That has shifted in today's agent era, the agents are playing the opening (shipping code overnight), the founder is playing the midgame (managing what shipped), and the market is playing the endgame (repricing your company in real-time based on whether you have an agent story). And these three phases aren't three mindsets that one person holds. They're three parallel processes running on different clocks. Now founder's job is not to do "time travel." It's to synchronize clocks that are all ticking at different speeds.
